Modern Support Services provides Supported Living Services in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We Provide Individualized Training, Support & Guidance in order to promote a healthy and meaningful life.
Our Services include but are not limited to:
- Daily living activities such as meal preparation, including planning, shopping, cooking and appropriate storage.
- Routine household activities aimed at maintaining a clean and safe home.
- Locating and choosing suitable house mates.
- Acquiring, using and caring for canine and other animals specifically trained to provide assistance.
- Locating and scheduling appropriate medical services.
- Becoming aware of and effectively using transportation, police, fire, and emergency help available to the general public.
- Managing personal financial affairs.
- Enroll in community college classes.
- Locate and access generic support services.
- Receive positive behavioral supports and instructional strategies towards achieving lifetime preferences.
- Have access to 24 hour services.
- Gain access to new and meaningful life experiences.
We provide services to anyone with a developmental disability, provided funding is available for adequate supports. We will provide supports to people ranging from a few hours a month to 24 hours a day/7 days a week. All services will be provided to meet each person’s unique and changing needs.
